Comprised of 12 to 16 singers, the group performs classical as well as traditional and contemporary arrangements and leads in worship once a month. The ensemble also performs in our Christmas Concert and has sung for weddings and other special music events in and outside of COS. Under the direction of Cheryl Owens and Beverly Moore, the Ensemble meets every Tuesday night for rehearsals in the choir room. New Life Singers

The New Life Singers is a vocal ensemble comprised of Middle and High School aged students who hold fast to its mission of: a) proficiency in the area of vocal music using repertoire that spans from Classical/Sacred to Musical Theatre and Christian Contemporary; and b) using our gifts both within the church and throughout the community to speak the name of Jesus Christ. Starting this fall, rehearsals run Monday nights from 6:30 - 8:30 PM, September through April. Nancy Hicks - Director.

Living Acts

Living Acts, the COS drama team, serves the church primarily through performing sketches to illustrate sermons in morning services. We rehearse Sunday afternoons on an as-needed basis when sketches are scheduled, and also get together periodically for brainstorming, fellowship, and improving our skills. Gina Barrett - Director.

Jasper Praise Ensemble

Jasper Praise Ensemble was formed with the goal of providing a place for singers to combine their voices in a contemporary music setting. It consists of 25-30 singers.
