Newly Married

Let's face it. Church of the Saviour is a big place - especially for newly-married couples who are looking for a place to get connected and feel at home in the church. If you value developing relationships with other couples in the same stage of life and are looking to grow stronger in your faith, the Newly Married Ministry of COS may be for you. Our ministry is targeted to newly married couples (generally 0-5 years) and engaged couples with a firm wedding date. Below you can find out how you can get plugged in.

Small Groups

The primary emphasis of our ministry is Life Groups. We have several groups in all different areas surrounding the church, each of which has up to 6-7 couples. Our Life Group philosophy mirrors Church of the Saviour's, and is characterized as a life change group where meaningful relationships with other couples can be developed and where God can be honored.

Social Events

We get together throughout the year for activities such as dinners, game nights, bonfires, breakfasts, etc. We feel these functions are a great opportunity to welcome newcomers, interact with other couples at the same stage of life, and have some fun.

Newcomer Dinners

As needed, the leadership of the ministry gets together with couples interested in getting involved in the Newly Married Ministry. Newcomers often find this environment is helpful to gain an understanding of the ministry (and how to be a part of it) and meet some of the ministry's leaders and others in the same situation.
